Creatives and Trends

Many people think that weddings should have white dress and soft colors. I think of Steel Magnolias and asking what colors is Shelby going to have for her wedding day? Blush and Bashful- the two most beautiful colors of pink. That is great, and if you want that, then do it. I'm all about doing what you love. But...what if you like something a little more bold?

Red and fuchsia! Do you think that will go together? Some may say no, but I think it looks amazing. Take a stroll and look what it could look like.

My style is unique....

Do not let your vibe and style lessen when you get married. Don't feel you have to conform to what what colors is trendy. Pick your own and rock it. There is so many parts of wedding planning that it will be overwhelming and it will take up a lot of time, remember to be happy with your choices. This time is a celebration of you and your partner; Have what you like.

Guys can wear color too...

You want the white dress, then that is amazing. So, will your guys wear something bright and flashy? Very possibly. I love how the couples stand out, you can pair this with the bridal party all in black with other colors of florals to still look cohesive.

How do you carry this through?

Start with these beautiful stationary created by Autumn Fox Designs (@autumnfoxdesigns) and boutonniere from Craven's Creations (@ mcravenscreations).

I love how the colors were bold and gave inspiration to something coming up. Sometimes the colors don't match completely, don't get tripped up by it being exact, inks can vary- but I think this leads you to expect something very bold and beautiful coming up.

Simple can be best...

Classic and simple is always smart to play. Makes it easy. Choose just red for groom and maybe a shade of pink for the groomsmen.

Bold and beautiful...

Bouquet's are a statement. Keep a few things in mind, they do get heavy and too big of one can hide most of your wedding dress in the front. Make a statement with your flowers and bigger is not always better.
